This week we were happy to receive a copy of the CNBC "On the Move in Shanghai" feature about Dragonfly that was aired on 11 October. A nice piece that was very flattering and that has been mentioned by many friends who saw it.

We had a wonderful 1 page feature article about Dragonfly and founder Georgie Yam (entitled "Spas for Every Man - Dragonfly Therapeutic Retreats" ) in the July/August edition of AsiaSpa. (1.2mb)

This weekend we were mentioned in the travel section of The Age, Melbourne on 1 November 2007 in an article called "Slick Dragon." It is always nice to be compared with our more pricey friends: "Dragonfly is less exclusive than Banyan Tree but still a five-star experience at about a quarter of the price". Full article here.

We have just learned that our interview with CNBC was aired this week - no more details yet but we had a phone call from an old friend who saw the report and re-established contact with us.

The world's favorite travel magazine, Conde Nast Traveller (UK) has written glowing remarks about Dragonfly after a visit to our Forbidden City retreat:
"You can't get a better foot massage than at Dragonfly... "
We couldn't have said it any better ourselves.

We came close - and with Georgie in attendance at the Black Tie BASA Awards ceremony we walked away proud that Dragonfly has been recognized by the industry as a new player on the scene.

This past weekend saw a nice full page writeup about our CEO & Founder Georgie Yam in the "Mind your own Business" section of the South China Morning Post. Georgie had some advice in this article for business startups in China.

Dragonfly @ Forbidden City was nominated "Day Spa of the Year" by the Baccarat AsiaSpa Awards. This is an exciting surprise - and we will be present in November for the awards ceremony to see the results of the nomination - where we are alongside some of the "big boys" in the industry.

Today we had the pleasure of an interview by Shanghai based contributor to the "Beauty Business News"and "International Cosmetic News" - Stephanie Rigaud.
It is always nice to have the attention of trade press and nice to know that Dragonfly is on the radar screen of the cosmetics industry - not just the spa industry.

This week's Time magazine Europe & Asia editions spoke highly of Dragonfly.
If you only have one night in Shanghai then one should consider "...ending the night with a typical Shanghai treat: a relaxing massage at Dragonfly.."

Dragonfly @ Oslo was featured in a full 2 page spread in the Aftenposten - Norway's major daily newspaper in the weekend edition. The full article is also available online here.

Good Morning Norway ("God morgen Norge"), the popular morning show on Norway's TV2 aired a 15 minute live outdoor massage reportage on the busy pedestrian street alongside their downtown Oslo offices. Oslo partners Finn Dalheim & Anita Kavlie were onsite to answer questions from two of Norway's most popular television hosts.

Today we learned the exciting news that Fuji TV will be coming on Friday the 10th to film our flagship shop on Xinle Road. Irashaimase!

Today we entertain Minmin Ma a visiting beauty editor from Lush Magazine in Toronto, Canada who is keenly anticipating our Emperor's delight. Minmin was born in Shanghai but left at the age of 10.
